Property Tax Statements Mailed In Conroe-Montgomery County

Nearly 341,000 property tax statements were sent out by the Montgomery County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office. Taxes are due Jan. 31.

CONROE-MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Nearly 341,000 Montgomery County residents have been mailed property tax statements this week, according to Montgomery County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office, Tammy McRae.

Taxpayers should receive their statements in the coming days and weeks. Residents who haven't received their statements by mid-November can contact the Tax-Assessor Collector's Office, McRae said.

Taxes are due Jan. 31, and all payments must be either received or postmarked by that date. Using a USPS dropbox on the deadline does not ensure it will be postmarked on time, which could result in penalty fees and interest, according to McRae.
