Public Invited to Share Holidays with Montgomery County Food Bank

From Montgomery County Food Bank: Montgomery County Food Bank is excited to participate in the 36th annual ABC-13 Share Your Holidays Food and Fund Drive taking place Friday, December 9, 2016 at various locations all over the county. Each location will be collecting food and monetary donations to benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank, who serves the food insecure residents in the area through the holiday season and year-round.

Donations and financial contributions help the Montgomery County Food Bank give hope to the food insecure of our area when they need it most. The proceeds will come directly back to the Food Bank and be distributed to partner agencies to help fill their shelves as the end of the year nears. To spread even more holiday joy, local bands and choirs will be sharing their talents with their performances at each of the collection locations.

Donations can be made by bringing non-perishable food items or monetary contributions to one of the five convenient collection centers on December 9th. These locations are as follows:

• Market Street: 9595 Six Pines, The Woodlands
• Montgomery County Courthouse, 301 N. Thompson, Conroe
• Kroger, 3410 Northpark Drive, Kingwood
• Kroger, 12605 I-45 N, Willis
• Brookshire Brothers, 18535 FM Rd 1488, Magnolia

In addition to the in-person collection locations, residents can donate now through the MCFB Virtual Food Drive. For every dollar donated, 3.5 meals can be served to those in need.
