Shooting At Taco Stand Leaves 1 Dead: Police

The owner of the taco stand called 911 immediately after the shooting to request help but by the time help arrived, the man was dead.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man outside of a taco stand in Montgomery County. Police said they received a 911 for a shooting in the 21120 block of Highway 105 East just before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

According to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a man was arguing with the owner of the taco stand and was shot to death.

The owner of the taco stand called 911 immediately after the shooting to request help but by the time help arrived, the man was dead. Police have not said if the two knew each other or what sparked the argument.

Detectives in the Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit along with Crime Scene Investigators are still investigating the incident, and no further details are available at this time, officials said.
