Tomball Cancels 8th Annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Fest Due To Rain
The threat of severe weather and soggy conditions at the Depot forced the city to call off the annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival.
TOMBALL, TX -- The City of Tomball’s annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival that was to happen on Saturday, has been canceled because of the recent rain, the threat of severe weather overnight and into Saturday morning.
In a statment from the City of Tomball, Marketing Director Mike Baxter said the soggy weather had made conditions unsuitable for the event.

Tomball’s next scheduled event is the annual July 4th Celebration & Street Festival on Business 249 just north of FM 2920 beginning at 5 p.m.
