Tomball Hosts 8th Annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Fest This Saturday
It's gonna be a foot stomping, crawfish eating good time at the 8th Annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival in Tomball

TOMBALL, TX -- If you've got a hankering for crawfish and find yourself in need of a toe-tapping good time, then head down to the 8th Annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival. One of Tomball's most popular w2eekend festivals takes place this Saturday at the historic downtown depot.
Gates open at 11:00 a.m. with musical performances from noon to 8 p.m.
There’ll be plenty of tasty mudbugs, a plethora of catchy tunes, and family fun happening all day long.

The Powell Brothers perform on the K-Star 99.7 FM stage, along with Bayou Roux, Phineus Reb and the Allen Oldies Band.
Oh, but there's a lot more, including delectable fried ‘gator, boudin balls, etouffee’ and all sorts of festival foods, too.

Once your stuffed silly Cajun cuisine and all danced out, visit some of the local vendors for a little bit of shopping and then turn the kids loose in the kids zone for even more fun.
There will be live crawfish racing again this year during the “Roux Run at Depot Downs”, with metals for the winning “jockeys”. Register for the event at the festival information tent.
The Depot Plaza is at 201 South Elm at Market Street along the railroad tracks in downtown Tomball.
Admission and parking are free, and be sure to browse the Tomball Farmers Market on Saturday morning before Rails & Tails begins. More than 50 vendors at what has been named Houston’s Best Farmers Market by Edible Houston Magazine.
