True Crime Q&A, Pixar's Cars Show: This Weekend In MoCo

CONROE, TX — Beer and mystery fans are in for a real treat this weekend as Southern Star Brewery is hosting forensic psychologist and true crime author Frank Weber on Saturday.

Ever wanted to know what movies and TV shows get wrong or wanted your forensics questions answered? Now you can.

Weber will be at the Conroe brewery from 2-7 p.m. Saturday and will speak to the crowd at 4 p.m.

Weber's works include award-winning mystery thrillers Murder Book (2017), The I-94 Murders (2018) and Last Call (2019).

On the lighter side, The Woodlands Children's Museum is celebrating kids going back-to-school with a special car show for kids featuring characters from Pixar's Cars.

Shake Your Summer Sillies Out With Cars will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the museum. Kids can see Lightning McQueen, Mater and other cars from the animated film and get a chill treat from Cheri’s N’awlins Sneaux Bawls.
