Victims In Deadly Montgomery County Helicopter Crash Identified
Officials have identified the injured crash victims as pilot Morgan Kozloski, and Kelly Callahen. Firefighter Daniel Laird was killed.

MONTGOMERY, TX — Officials released the names of the three victims who were involved in a deadly helicopter crash in the Sam Houston National Forest on Wednesday. Authorities identified the two injured as pilot Morgan Kozloski, and passenger Kelly Callahen.
Both were taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center and are expected to fully recover, officials said.
Daniel Laird, 41, a U.S. Forest Service firefighter who was a passenger in the aircraft, was killed on impact.

The helicopter was contracted by the U.S. Forest Service, who were in the area to help with two scheduled controlled burns in the Sam Houston National Forest.
Officials said the AS350 helicopter crashed at about 2 p.m. near Bethel Road and FM 149, Wednesday afternoon.

Officials from the FAA are investigating the cause of the crash.
