Willis Man Accused In Online Child Porn Scheme

WILLIS, TX — A 23-year-old Willis man who believed he was setting a sexual liaison with a 13-year-old girl was caught in an online sting targeting online sexual predators. Police arrested Alexander Michael O'Rourke at his home on Tuesday.

According to investigators with the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 Office, O'Rourke communicated online with an undercover investigator with the Internet Crimes Against Children division, and agreed to meet up with the agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, for sex.

Investigators went to O'Rourke's home and when allegedly admitted to communicating on online forums with underage girls for sex.

Investigators examined several electronic devices in O'Rourke's home and found that he'd allegedly shared pornographic images with other people online.

O'Rourke was arrested and is charged with online solicitation of a minor, two counts of possession of child pornography, and two counts of possession with intent to promote child pornography.

He is in the Montgomery County Jail with bonds totaling nearly $200,000.
