• New Corpus Christi committee to advise on environmental study of desal (caller.com subscription) — Corpus Christi officials are finalizing a new advisory committee to guide an expanded environmental study of the proposed Inner Harbor seawater desalination plant, including impacts on Nueces Bay and Corpus Christi Bay. The diverse group of experts and community members is expected by Jan. 2, with modeling targeted for completion by April as the city weighs a contract with Corpus Christi Desal Partners.
