Flour Bluff ISD bringing water savings with new turf baseball and softball fields (kiiitv.com) — Flour Bluff ISD in Corpus Christi is replacing its baseball and softball fields with turf, a bond-funded project expected to save roughly 500,000 gallons of city water each year. District leaders say the upgrade will cut nightly maintenance, improve coaches’ and players’ quality of life, and let teams practice more reliably in bad weather, all thanks to strong community bond support.

Local business steps in after man with knife alarms students, parents at Corpus Christi school bus stop (kiiitv.com) — Parents and staff near Driscoll Middle School say a homeless man carrying a knife approached students at a Corpus Christi bus stop, raising new safety concerns.
