Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson Apologizes After Frustrations At Convention Center Vaccination Site On Saturday

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson has issued an apology after residents voiced their frustrations with the city’s COVID-19 vaccination site at the convention center on Saturday.

The site at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center saw long lines throughout the day, with cars lined up for blocks. The drive-up, appointment-only site was meant to be efficient, but some residents saw it as anything but that on the site’s third day of operation.

Some residents believed the massive operation should not have been in the heart of downtown.
