Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. A Dallas woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing into the back of a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck. The wreck happened just after 2:30 a.m. early Saturday morning when the woman drove into the back of a blocker truck, as firefighters were already on the scene for a previous crash. No firefighters were injured; however, the woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
  2. The Dallas Museum of Art's exhibition about Matthew Wong’s six-year career will run through Feb. 19. DMA's exhibit, which is the late artist’s first museum retrospective, features approximately 50 paintings and is organized chronologically, beginning in 2013. “There was so much that he couldn’t control of his own body, but in painting, he found so much freedom and he could control that," said Dr. Vivian Li, curator of the exhibit. "He knew was very good at it.” (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  3. State Representative Victoria Neave Criado remains focused on helping Texans through educational improvements. The Dallas County Democrat aims to increase teacher pay and make college more affordable, as well as focus on the budget surplus. Neave Criado thinks schools should benefit from the state’s financial windfall, though a lot of the talk has been focused on using it to lower property taxes. (WFAA.com)
