• Murder suspect fatally shot in ‘armed confrontation' with Dallas police officers (star-telegram.com) — Dallas police say a murder suspect was shot and killed late Saturday morning after an armed confrontation with officers near Town East Mall in Mesquite, following a fatal shooting of a woman in northeast Dallas. Both Dallas and Mesquite police, along with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, are investigating the officer-involved shooting, and no officers were injured.
   

• Claire Ann Malone - May 22, 1952 - December 9, 2025 (fortworthreport.org) — Friends and family across North Texas are invited to honor Claire Ann Malone Tarver, who was born in Dallas and later made her home in Fort Worth, at services on December 27 at Mount Olivet Chapel.
