Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- Downtown Dallas, Inc. will be hosting the fourth annual Downtown Stocking Stroll on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Main Street Garden Park. The event will allow guests to visit various downtown merchants for fun holiday stocking stuffers and treats. (CultureMap Dallas)
- Dallas International Film Festival 2023 has released its official dates. The festival will be held from Apr. 28 to May 4. The festival is currently selling film passes. There are various passes to accommodate participants' viewing preferences. A general film pass is $100 and the Star Plus Pass is $500. Click for ticket details. (CW33 Dallas)
- A Dallas Family Dollar employee has been shot and killed. Tenery Walker, 46, was shot on Thursday evening by an individual previously asked to leave the store. The unidentified suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (WFAA.com)
