  1. Snakes on the street? Residents of a nearby neighborhood in Austin have spent the past few months keeping an eye out for a rogue 16-foot-albino reticulated python. The reptile was first seen in July, but the craft snake has been able to elude people. The snake was finally caught and returned to its worried owner. (CBS Dallas)
  2. New Year's is one of the best times to cut loose and celebrate, and Dallas is ready to party!   3. A deadly crash in downtown Dallas caused massive traffic on Thursday morning. The crash involved multiple vehicles, including an 18-wheeler. The incident took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 at Interstate 45. Lanes were closed for several hours, but have since been reopened. (WFAA.com)
