- Yesterday afternoon a man crashed a car – with possible stolen plates – near Bruton and Jim Miller Road. The man then, allegedly, stole a golf cart at Keeton Golf Course and fired shots at the two men he took the cart from. One of the men said they threw a golf club at the subject. As of Wednesday afternoon, Dallas Police had the suspect surrounded and the incident was ongoing. (WFAA.com)
- Electric rental scooters and bikes are returning to Dallas with regulations this year. After the scooters were banned in 2020, the City of Dallas plans to limit the rental companies to only three so there is less clutter in the city. Rentals will also only be available from 5:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will have a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour and even 10 miles per hour in certain areas. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
- An early Wednesday afternoon crash shut down southbound lanes of I-45. An 18-wheeler was overturned near I-20 causing major delays as crews worked to clear the scene of heavy debris. Texas Department of Transportation hoped to clear the roadway by late afternoon; it was unclear if that happened as of early Wednesday evening. (WFAA.com)
