For Oak Cliff Teams Up With DTLR to Host Juneteenth Celebration
This year's event will honor freedom, community, and the rich heritage of black cowboy culture through interactive displays and storytelling
WHAT: On Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., DTLR, a highly successful lifestyle retailer with over 250 stores in 21 states, is partnering with For Oak Cliff to host its Fourth Annual Juneteenth celebration and farmer’s market.
This year’s event will honor freedom, community, and the rich heritage of black cowboy and cowgirl culture, which will be illustrated through:
- Interactive displays
- Storytelling sessions; and
- Live demonstrations of horsemanship.
The community event will also feature a Kids Zone, live DJ, soulful eats, voter registration, and more. For more details, please visit the event website.
