Senior Safety Summit Scheduled In Dallas
This year the summit will have a focus on hoarding.

The Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs and the City of Dallas Office of Community Care Senior Services will host a free Senior Safety Summit Thursday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.
This year the summit will have a focus on hoarding. Other topics will be personal and financial safety, the city said in a news release.
The summit will be held at the Lakewest YMCA located at 3737 Goldman St. This free event for Dallas area senior citizens will provide information about how to stay safe in different aspects of life. Presenters will include the Dallas Police Department, Mental Health America, and the Senior Source.

Registration is required to attend, as there are only 150 seats available. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided with registration. To reserve your spot or for additional information, call the AARP at 1-877-926-8300 or register online at aarp.cvent.com/sss_2k19. The deadline to register is June 26.
