Texas ranked above Tennessee and behind Indiana. The top states were Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. The bottom states were Mississippi, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

The data for the report was gathered from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, National Center for Education Statistics, American Medical Association, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and Environmental Protection Agency, among many other places.
