Upon their timely arrival at the educational institution, the officers promptly discerned the critical nature of the student's injuries and summoned immediate medical assistance. The student was subsequently transferred to a nearby medical institution for detailed examination and medical care.

Post-investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused, unearthing conclusive evidence. Consequently, both Richard and Conroy were arrested and incarcerated on the grounds of causing injury to a child, an offense bearing weighty legal implications.

The Forney Police Department conveyed its appreciation to the staff of Forney ISD, the Department of Family and Protective Services, and the medical team for their exemplary role in tending to the injured student's urgent needs.

"The safety and security of children are of the utmost importance, we ask the community to please come forward and report if you suspect abuse of any kind," articulated the department's official communique.

The investigation remains in progress, and as per police sources, additional charges might be imposed.
