Universal Academy Marching Band Needs the Community’s Help
In Order to Perform at the Liberty Bowl

Earlier this year, The Mighty Marching Eagles of Universal Academy (universalacademy.com) was invited to perform as part of the entertainment portion of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Classic, to be held at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee on December 27.
Being invited to perform at a NCAA bowl game is an honor, in and of itself. Having the invitation extended to a charter school, makes it a once in a lifetime experience. As soon as the invitation was made, the school began a fundraising campaign. They need a total $25,000 to pay for the expense to send band members, chaperones and instruments to Memphis.
Universal Academy raised $13,000 and they need $12,000 to bring them over the top, so that they can go to Memphis and perform in the Liberty Bowl.

Without these funds, they can’t go to Memphis!
The school is reaching out to the community for donations to help them go to Memphis, perform in the Liberty Bowl and make the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex proud.

A special call out is going out to former marching band members, college football fans and music lovers. If you don’t fall in any of those categories, that’s okay, you can make a donation, as well. Any donation, big or small is welcome.
