  1. This weekend is New Years, and Dallas is ready to celebrate! Besides the usual nighttime merriment, this list will give you the rundown on some of the best food and drink events going on this weekend.   2. Are electric scooters returning to Dallas? Although there was a temporary ban on the scooters back in 2020, a local committee has been working to change this. They've submitted recommendations to the city that would allow scooters to safely return to the streets of Dallas. The city is working to complete the permit process. (WBAP News/Talk)
  3. The holidays may be over, but for thousands of Southwest passengers, the headaches continue. The airline had mass cancellations over the weekend, spilling into Tuesday morning. The airline has announced it will be operating at approximately a third of its schedule over the next few days. Over 2,500 flights have already been canceled by Southwest. (Dallas Patch)
