Students and Summer Campers at Xplor® Preschool & School Age Care Locations in Fort Worth and Haslet Deliver More Than 450 Donations

Students and summer campers at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care locations in Fort Worth and Haslet recently donated more than 450 items to Cook Children’s Medical Center, a nonprofit pediatric hospital located in Fort Worth. Over the past few weeks, campers collected over 200 teddy bears and items to create 250 care packages for children being treated at the hospital. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community.
Xplor Preschool & School Age Care instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
