Texas Family Told To Remove Early Christmas Display
The family received a letter from their local homeowners association saying to remove the display "until closer to the holiday season."

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A family in Texas that decided to decorate for Christmas in November was told to take down an inflatable snowman that was a part of the display "until closer to the holiday season," according to a news report.
WOAI in San Antonio reports that Claudia and Nick Simonis receieved a notice from their local homeowners association that said to "please remove the snowman until closer to the holiday season." The letter did not specify what "closer to the holiday season" meant, Nick Simonis told the news channel.
The Simonis decided to put the decorations up on Nov. 1 because Claudia is eight months pregnant.

"I feel kind of heavy, so the earlier we can put out the decorations, the better," she told WOAI. "Because probably in two more weeks, I'm not going to be able to build all this."
The Simonis have no plans to take down the decorations.
