Extension Office Offering Foodhandler Course in Rosenberg

ROSENBERG, TX — The Texas AgriLife Extension Service will be offering a food handler course on Aug. 19.

State law now requires that all employees, not just managers or cooks, that work with food complete an accredited food handler program within 60 days of hiring.

The course being offered by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service is accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services. The course will begin at 9 a.m. on Aug. 19 and will be held at the Extension Office, 1402 Band Rd., in Rosenberg.
