Sammy Hagar Brings Circle Tour To Sugar Land On May 1

SUGAR LAND, TX — Are you ready to spend an evening with the legendary Red Rocker? Rock legend Sammy Hagar is bringing the Circle Jam tour to the Smart Financial Centre on May 1 at 8 p.m.

The 71-year-old rocker has been a fixture in the Rock works since his debut in the 1970s, and is best known for his 1984 solo hit “I Can't Drive 55” before he became the front man for Van Halen in 1986.

The Circle Jam has Hagar performing with Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, Led Zepplin drummer Jason Bonham, and rock guitarist Vic Johnson.

Hagar and the gang announced the 22-city tour in February, which kicked off in Reno, NV on April 19. The tour is heading east with a stop in Austin on Tuesday before the super group plays in Houston Wednesday night.

The tour will play stops throughout the Midwest before wrapping up with their final show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL.
