4th Of July Craft: Fireworks Art
Let kiddos show off their artistic talent this summer with a fireworks art craft that uses supplies you probably already have at home.
Before you go shopping for these supplies, check your kitchen and your craft supply stash. You might just have everything you already need at home!
What you'll need:
Instructions:
1. Cover your work area with newspaper or another covering. This craft can get messy!

2. Place the black cardstock on top of the work area covering.
3. Using the white school glue, help kids draw fireworks shapes onto the cardstock. There's no wrong way to do this. Just encourage kids and let them know it doesn't have to be perfect.
4. Immediately sprinkle table salt onto the glue shapes. Allow the glue to dry.
5. Pick up the cardstock and shake it lightly to remove any excess salt. You can do this right over a garbage can, or just shake it onto the work area.

6. Once the glue is dry, paint the salt with watercolors. Kids can use any colors they'd like.
7. Allow the paint to dry, then hang your kid's artwork.
