4th Of July Craft: Fireworks Rings

Grab a pack of pipe cleaners and you can create sparkly, patriotic rings for everyone at your July 4th barbecue! Both kids and adults will want to craft one of these fun accessories.

What you'll need:

• 3 sparkly pipe cleaners in red, blue, or silver
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Using scissors, cut each pipe cleaner in half. You should have six pipe cleaner pieces.

2. Wrap five of the pipe cleaner pieces around your kid's finger where they're going to wear the ring. Make the ring snug enough that it won't fall off, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable.

3. Twist the five pieces around to secure them, then wrap the sixth pipe cleaner around the pieces to hold them in place. Wrap the pipe cleaner around a couple of times to make sure everything stays in place.

4. Bend the pipe cleaners so that they create a spray of fireworks. Arrange them so that the ends are not poking your kid's fingers.
