4th Of July Craft: Patriotic Noise Makers
When the fireworks begin, hand kids these noise makers to get the party started.
Help kids make these fun noise makers in preparation for the patriotic festivities. You can use these in place of sparklers, if you'd like, and kids can use them as musical instruments even after the holiday is over.
What you'll need:
- Aluminum foil
- Scissors
- Toilet paper or paper towel tube
- Blue cardstock
- Foil star stickers
- Glue
- Assortment of buttons, beads, or anything else that makes noise
Instructions:
1. Use scissors to cut a small square of aluminum foil that's slightly larger than the opening of the tube.
2. Wrap the foil around the tube to cover one end, then glue the foil in place.

3. Fill the tube with buttons, beads, and other noise makers.
4. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to cover the opposite end of the tube with foil.

5. Wrap the blue cardstock around the tube, then trim it to the same height as the tube.
6. Overlap the cardstock and glue it in place around the tube.

7. Help kids decorate the tube with star stickers.
