The Cutest, Fuzziest Easter Egg How-To

Give your Easter eggs a soft, fuzzy texture with brightly colored pom poms.

There are so many options for this pom pom egg craft. Cover the entire egg in pom poms for lots of texture, or just use the pom poms to help create cute little spring animals like bunnies and chicks. These would also make wonderful egg ornaments for hanging in trees.

We glued pom poms onto plastic eggs, but you can glue them onto hard-boiled eggs, too. If you're lucky, the pom poms might even cushion the fall of the eggs that accidentally tumble out of the basket!

Instructions:

1. Turn on your hot glue gun and allow it to heat up. If the glue gun is empty, insert a glue stick inside.

While you wait, choose what color pom poms you'd like to use to decorate your egg. Cover the entire egg in one color, or create a spring-perfect pastel palette.

Pom Poms

2. Pick up a pom pom. Use the hot glue gun to place a small drop of glue on the pom pom, then place the pom pom onto the surface of the egg.

3. Hold the pom pom in place for a few seconds to ensure that the glue adheres to the egg.

4. Repeat steps 2-3 to place as many pom poms as you'd like on your egg. You can completely cover the egg with pom poms, or space the pom poms apart. This is your chance to get creative!

5. Use your fingers to pull off any stray dried glue that has built up on the pom poms.
