DIY Father's Day Gift: Dad's Coupon Book

Gift Dad a stack of coupons that he can redeem for anything from a camping trip to his favorite dessert.

Give Dad a gift that lasts well beyond Father's Day with these coupons he can redeem for anything from a batch of fresh-baked cookies to a day at his favorite park.

One sheet of card stock can make as many coupons as you'd like. We divided each sheet into four sections to give kids plenty of room to write and draw on each one, but you can cut the coupons smaller if you'd like.

Astrobrights Colored Paper

Instructions:

1. Using the ruler and pencil, divide the card stock into four sections by lightly marking down the middle of the page and then across the center of the page. This divides the card stock sheet into four coupons. Repeat this for the other card stock sheets, creating as many coupons as you'd like. You also have the option to cut these into smaller coupons, if you'd like.

2. Cut the card stock along the lines you marked in step 1. (Older kids may be able to complete this step on their own.)

Crayola Colored Pencils

3. Using the colored pencils, help kids write what each coupon can be used for. If your kiddo hasn't learned to write yet, give them a hand by helping them come up with ideas and writing them on each coupon. Customize them to fit Dad's favorite things!

4. Have kids use the colored pencils to draw on each coupon. Kids can add random doodles, or they can add drawings that relate to the coupon.

5. Present Dad with the stack of coupons!
