DIY Halloween Costume: Cactus

If you're short on time and don't have pipe cleaners at home, you can substitute them for either yarn or straws.

What you'll need:

• White pipe cleaners
• Scissors
• Green sweatshirt
• Green sweatpants (optional)
• Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Instructions:

1. Using scissors, cut the pipe cleaners into 1-2-inch lengths.

2. Fold each 1-2-inch pipe cleaner in half. Using the hot glue gun, attach pipe cleaners to the front of the shirt, randomly placing them. Note that you probably don't want to attach pipe cleaners to the back of the shirt, since they could poke you when you sit down.

3. If you're wearing sweatpants with your ensemble, repeat Step 2 on the sweatpants.
