DIY Halloween Costume: Ghost
Ghosts are a traditional last-minute costume, but this DIY doesn't involve the usual white bed sheets.

Leave the bed sheets in the linen closet and instead stain cheesecloth to create a terrifying ghost that looks like it took weeks of planning and DIY. (You might even freak out a little when you look in the mirror!)

2. Remove the tea bags from the pot, squeezing the excess water out of the tea bags and into the pot.

3. Add the cheesecloth to the pot of water, allowing it to soak for about half an hour.

4. While the cheesecloth soaks, cut a square of sheer fabric that fits over your entire face and neck. Using safety pins, attach the fabric to your black cap. This doesn't have to be super neat; just be sure your face and neck are not visible when you put the hat on.
5. Remove the cheesecloth from its tea bath. Place the cheesecloth in a dryer to set the tea.

6. Put on your black clothing (pants, shirt, shoes, etc.). Begin draping the cheesecloth all over you, draping over your head and around your shoulders. You can safety pin the cheesecloth in place here and there to secure it, if you'd like.
