DIY Halloween Costume: Medusa

If you have time to make a run to the craft store, then you have time to pull off this costume. This costume works especially well if you have long hair that can be braided.

What you'll need:

• Plastic snakes
• Bobby pins
• Greek-inspired dress or other clothing
• Gold accessories like rings and bangles

Instructions:

1. Put your hair in an updo with lots of twists and strands. French braids, for example, work really well for this costume. Be sure to secure your updo with pins.

2. Thread the snakes throughout your hair, weaving them in and out of the braids.

3. Wear Greek-inspired clothing and gold accessories to go along with your Medusa look.
