DIY Halloween Costume: Zombie
Get ready to frighten everyone you meet this Halloween with a few quick rips and smears of blood, plus some professional-looking makeup.

If you're trying to frighten the masses but you don't have a lot of time to prep, the zombie costume is a fantastic traditional option. The most time-consuming part of this DIY is applying the makeup.

- Second-hand clothes in any color, preferably in stretchy knit fabrics
- Fabric scissors
- Diluted red food coloring
- Zombie makeup kit
Instructions:
1. Make a snip in your second-hand clothes with the fabric scissors, then use your hands to rip the fabric open. Create small rips and tears all over the clothing.

2. Using your fingers, smear diluted red food coloring onto the T-shirt randomly. If you have fake blood in your makeup kit, you can also smear that onto your clothing. The idea here is that it looks random, and, of course, scary.

3. Apply zombie makeup using the makeup kit.
