DIY Mother's Day Gift: Glitter Luminaries

It only takes a few coats of pretty transparent glitter paint to help Mom create a relaxing atmosphere. This pretty glitter luminary uses a battery-operated flame, so it's safe for everyone. Mom can place the faux flame in the bedroom, near the bathtub, or anywhere else she likes to relax.

What you'll need:

• Glass jar
• Transparent glitter paint in color of your choice
• Paintbrush
• Battery-powered flameless candles

Instructions:

1. Wash and dry the glass jar, removing any sticky labels.

2. Using the paintbrush, apply a coat of transparent glitter paint to the entire jar. Allow the coat to dry.

3. Apply a second coat of glitter paint. Allow the coat to dry.

4. Place the flameless candle inside the jar. When Mom needs to relax, she can simply switch on the flameless candle.
