DIY Winter Craft: Pine Cone Wreath

Replace your holiday wreath with a winter-themed pine cone wreath that can stay on your door all season long.

Pine cones are not just for December. They can be displayed all winter long with this quick DIY that uses supplies from your yard.



What you'll need:

Instructions:

#1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pine cones on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. This will open up the pine cones.

Wreath form

#2. Plan the placement of your pine cones on the wreath. Depending on the size of your pine cones, they can probably be placed side by side around the wreath.

#3. Add a dab of hot glue to the bottom of a pine cone, then place it on the wreath form. Repeat this until your wreath is full.

#4. If you'd like, add a few coats of spray paint to the pine cones to give them a wintry look.

#5. Tie a ribbon or wire around the wreath form to create a loop for hanging.
