Earth Day Craft: Nature Bracelets
Accompany kids on a nature walk to gather most of the materials for this unique DIY bracelet.

This craft celebrates Earth Day in a couple of different ways. The bracelet uses upcycled toilet paper rolls as the base, plus you'll have the opportunity to go on a nature walk with kids to gather some of the other materials.
The upcycled toilet paper rolls fit like a cuff, and no special jewelry supplies are needed. Each cuff bracelet is totally unique, so encourage kids to include the natural findings that they love most. If they can't fit everything on one bracelet, they can always make two!

Instructions:
1. Use scissors to cut the toilet paper roll in half, up the long center. This is the base of the bracelet. (The bracelet will fit like a cuff around kids' wrists, so no special closures are needed.)

2. Glue the findings from your nature walk onto the bracelet one at a time. Kids can add findings as they gather them, or kids can gather the natural materials and then carefully plan out a design.
