Instructions:
1. Help kids choose the perfect wand from the backyard. The wand should be thin enough that kids can easily grip it. Remove any extra branches or sharp edges from the stick.

2. Cut 2-4 strands of ribbon that are about twice the length of the stick. (Don't cut them any longer, otherwise kids could trip over them.) You can use the same ribbon for each strand, but it's also fun to use lots of different colors and prints!
3. Wrap each ribbon around the stick one at a time, knotting the ribbon ends around the stick.
4. If necessary, trim the ribbon ends.
5. Add more ribbons to the stick, if you'd like. There's no limit to how many ribbons your wand can have!
6. Whirl and twirl around the yard to show off the pretty ribbons.
