Want lots of spring color in a short amount of time? The hardest part about these DIY decoupage eggs is waiting for them to dry!

Decoupaging is a fun, simple way to add lots of color to your Easter eggs. Plus, you don't need any special DIY skills. If you can wield a paintbrush, then you can decoupage!
This craft is so easy that even kids can try it. Your kitchen table will thank you, too; decoupage is not as messy as egg dye, so cleanup is easy.

1. Punch shapes out of the tissue paper using the decorative paper punch. You can punch out as many different shapes as you'd like.
To speed up the process, fold the tissue over several times to create layers and punch several sheets at once.

2. Using the paintbrush, paint a small section of the egg with Mod Podge.
3. Add a tissue paper shape on top of the Mod Podge, smoothing the shape down with your fingers to make sure there are no wrinkles.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 until you have covered as much of the egg as you'd like. You can overlap the tissue paper, if you'd like, or spread it out more so the shapes are easier to see.
5. Paint a layer of Mod Podge on top of the tissue paper to seal.
6. If desired, repeat steps 2-5, adding as many layers of tissue paper shapes as you'd like. The more colorful, the better!
7. Allow the egg to dry completely.
