‘Gender Identity Solved,’ Church Sign Reads Amid Protest

ACROSS AMERICA — Pro-LGBTQ demonstrators and local officials alike protested across the street from a Medford, Massachusetts, church that caused controversy with its latest sign.

The sign displayed in front of New England Baptist Church read “Male and Female. Created He Them. Gen 5:2. Gender Identity Solved.”

A counterprotest of church supporters formed in front of the church, as both groups chanted at each other from opposite sides of the street.

"Two, four, six, eight: Medford has no room for hate!" Medford City Councilor Zac Bears tweeted. "I was proud to join so many Medford residents tonight standing in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ family, friends, and neighbors. Trans rights are human rights!" Pup Leads 5-Hour Animal Control Chase

Nieve, a fluffy white terrier mix, eluded Capt. Amy Corso, Lt. Ellie Sadler, Officer Rebecca Fenson and Officer Shane Jolley of San Francisco Animal Control for five hours despite her senior status as an 8-year-old dog. Finally, trapping the dog behind a parked car, the officers scooped her up in a net and brought her to the city animal shelter. Then, the miracle occurred.
