Photos: Wildfire Haze Blankets The U.S. Once Again
The Canadian wildfires continue to bring smokey haze far south into the United States. See photos of the haze blanket several cities.

ACROSS AMERICA — Smoke from Canadian wildfires that so far have scorched nearly 19 million acres have triggered another round of air quality alerts as smoke from the blazes flows into the United States, obscuring the skyline of cities as far south as Chicago in a dystopian haze.
Much of the country was blanketed earlier this month with a thick haze . The smoke reappeared again this week, starting in Minnesota and spanned all the way down to Pennsylvania.
Air quality alerts were issued in several states, and citizens were warned to wear masks and be wary of spending too much time outside. On Wednesday, Chicago and Detroit had some of the worst air quality in the country.
