Popular Chicken Chain Rolls Out All New Wraps, Beverage Flavors

MIAMI, FL — Popular chicken chain Popeyes announced Monday the launch of an all new menu category for fans to get excited about this summer: chicken wraps.

Additionally, the fast food giant has added a brand new blueberry-themed beverage lineup for customers to cool off with during the warm summer months.

All-New Chicken Wraps

According to a news release provided by Popeyes, the restaurant chain will bring its signature Louisiana flavor to summer eats with the launch of its new "wrapped, packed and made to move with you" chicken wraps.

"Whether you're cruising through errands, road tripping or hopping between meetings, Popeyes is bringing their signature crunch that you crave in a grab-and-go style that's big on flavor and easy on the wallet," the release reads.

According to Popeyes, these generously-sized wraps are available at participating restaurants nationwide and on the chain's app and website as of Monday for a limited time only.

Each wrap is packed with a Popeyes hand-breaded and battered chicken tender, crisp lettuce, shredded cheese, crunchy pickles and topped with a customer's choice of classic, spicy or honey mustard spread, all tucked into a soft, warm tortilla inspired by the brand's famous biscuits.

The chicken wraps are available in three varieties for $3.99 each, offering customers "a whole lot of flavor without breaking the bank."

"With our new chicken wraps, we've taken our iconic chicken tenders and wrapped them in something completely new, bringing all that craveable crunch in a fresh, portable way," Chef Amy Alarcon, VP of culinary innovation at Popeyes, said in a news release. "We wanted to create a chicken wrap that was undeniably Popeyes. Infusing the flavors from our famous biscuit into our wraps was the perfect way to ensure our signature flavors shined through."

New Blueberry Beverages

In addition to the new wraps, Popeyes has added a lineup of blueberry lemonade and teas to its menu just in time for summer. These new beverages can also be ordered in a bundle with the new wraps.

Popeyes' menu currently offers regular, strawberry, mango and apple cranberry lemonades, as well as unsweetened, cane sweet, raspberry, strawberry, mango and apple cranberry iced teas.

According to the chain, each new menu item announced Monday is "here for a good time, not a long time," so customers are urged to grab them while they can.
