2. Grab a skein of embroidery floss. Pull the tail of the floss out, giving yourself several inches of length to work with. Glue the floss tail in place onto the egg where you'd like to start wrapping.
3. Begin wrapping the floss around the egg. There are many options for wrapping. You can wrap the floss around the egg horizontally or vertically. You can also wrap in different directions, alternating so that the floss covers the entire egg.
Another fun tip: Wrap two colors of floss at the same time for a double dose of color.
4. After 2-3 wraps around the egg, pause to add a small dab of glue to secure the floss. Continue wrapping the floss, pausing every few wraps to glue the floss in place.
5. When you finish wrapping the egg, clip the floss with your scissors. Glue the end of the floss into place to secure it.
6. Add another color of floss, if you'd like. Continue wrapping until you've covered as much of the egg as you'd like in color.
If you dyed your egg in step 1, you'll probably want to leave some areas of the egg visible to show off that gorgeous dye color.
