The NHL and NBA playoff series continue to narrow down the competition.

The country is reeling from three deadly mass shootings over the weekend spanning from coast to coast. They included what appeared to be a racially motivated mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, claiming the lives of 10 people among the 13 who were shot.

The nation also marked the grim milestone of 1 million deaths due to COVID-19.
