Ultra-Thin Glitter Dots

2. Apply the glue dots on the egg where you'd like the glitter to appear. You can place dots in clusters, or you can spread them evenly around the egg. To keep the dots extra sticky, try to avoid touching the dots with your fingers.

Martha Stewart Glitter Set

3. Add a layer of glitter to the entire surface of a paper plate. You can even mix different glitter colors together to create fun variegated colors.

4. Roll the egg around in the glitter, coating all the dots. If there are bare spots on the glue dots, add more glitter to the paper plate and roll the egg around once more. If you're still not satisfied with how your egg looks, you can always add more dots!

5. If you'd like to add different glitter dot colors to the same egg, repeat step 4, adding more glue dots and rolling the egg onto a paper plate with the new glitter color. Be sure to either dispose of the old glitter color or just use a new paper plate so that the glitter colors don't mix together.

6. Use your fingers to dust off any excess glitter from the egg.
