Spring Craft: Fuzzy Pom Pom Chickens
These cute pom pom chickens are easy to assemble, and they will be a hit at any Easter celebration.

You can assemble these pom pom chickens in minutes, making them a great craft for kids' Easter gatherings. The chickens can be used as decorations, or they can just hang out in Easter baskets with all those pretty dyed eggs.
Because this craft uses a glue gun, kids will need some extra help with gluing the different facial features. As an alternative, you could also use a clear craft glue.

1. Heat up your glue gun.

2. While the glue gun heats up, use scissors to cut triangle-shaped beaks and feet out of the orange felt. If you'd like, you can draw the shapes with a pencil before cutting.

3. Use the glue gun to add a dab of glue to the beak, then place it on the pom pom.
4. Add a dab of glue to one of the feet, then attach it to the bottom of the pom pom. Repeat for the second foot.

5. Add a dab of glue to one of the googly eyes, then attach it to the pom pom, just above and diagonal to the beak. Repeat for the second eye.
Let kids play around with the placement of the facial features, and be sure to supervise the use of the glue gun. If you're working with younger children you may want to add the glue dab, then help kids place the eye or felt onto the pom pom.
