Spring Craft: Rainbow Foam Necklaces
An easy spring necklace is only a few minutes away! Don't be surprised if kiddos make one for you, too.

The prettiest flowers might not be in bloom yet, but kids can still create these fun spring necklaces.
Younger kids might need a hand cutting the cotton cord and tying knots, but stringing the necklace is easy enough for practically any age.

1. If your foam shapes don't have holes in them already, use the hole punch to add a hole in the middle.
2. Plan your necklace design by laying foam shapes in a straight line. (You can always add more foam shapes later if you'd like.)

3. Cut the cotton cord to the length you'd like your necklace plus a few inches.
4. Tie a knot in one end of the cotton cord. Make sure the knot is large enough that the foam won't slide over the knot.
5. One at a time, thread the foam shapes through the cotton cord.
6. When the necklace has reached the desired length, bring the ends of the cord together and tie a knot to secure. (You can untie the previous end knot before tying the new one, if you'd like.)
