Thanksgiving Crafts For Kids: Coffee Sleeve Mayflower Ship
Set sail this Thanksgiving with a Mayflower replica that can hold anything from tiny treats to place cards for guests' names.

These tiny ships look great as stand-alone decorations, but you can also add names to the sails to turn them into seating cards. You can even add a sturdy bottom to the ship, then fill it with candy as a treat container.

2. Fold the coffee sleeve so that it lays flat. Using scissors, cut a small half circle out of the center on both sides of the sleeve to create the boat shape.
3. Using scissors and card stock, cut two small squares or trapezoid shapes from the card stock. The shapes, when stacked on top of each other, should be slightly shorter than the length of your popsicle stick.

4. Use markers to decorate the sails however you'd like. (If you're using the boats as place cards, you can write the name on the sail.)
5. Using scissors, cut two small openings into each sail: one near the top and one near the bottom. The openings should be big enough for the popsicle stick to slide through.

6. Slide the popsicle stick through the openings, making sure the stick runs along the back of the sail. Glue in place to secure.
7. Glue the bottom of the popsicle stick sail to the inside of the coffee sleeve boat. Allow the glue to dry.
