Thanksgiving Crafts For Kids: Mason Jar Leaf Luminaries

Let these luminaries create a relaxing mood on those fall days when the sun seems to set way too early. Kids can place them on the Thanksgiving table for seasonal decor, or use them as night lights in their rooms.

What you'll need:

• Mason jar
• Leaves collected from outside
• Mod Podge
• Foam paintbrush
• Battery-powered flameless candle

Instructions:

1. Clean, rinse and dry the jar.

2. Using the sponge paintbrush, brush the inside of the jar with Mod Podge.

3. Press leaves to the painted inside of the jar, layering them to cover the jar completely.

4. Add another layer of Mod Podge on top of the leaves. Allow the Mod Podge to dry.

5. Place the battery-powered flame inside the Mason jar.
